Wells Cathedral

“Wells Cathedral, set in the medieval heart of the city, is the earliest English cathedral to be built in the Gothic style. It’s honey-coloured stone, and rich and varied carvings, have caused it to be described as a ‘jewel’ amongst cathedrals and ‘inspiring’ to all who visit. The west front alone is breathtaking” .
